SUBJECT: WTC Air Testing Locations DERTA retained the contractor, Riverpoint, Inc., to Fa J ■- ’T perform air testing at designated locations near the World Trade Center on 10/5/01. Riverpoint, Inc. was 4- informed that each location was to be manned at all times during air sampling. Monthly reports indicating daily sampling locations and results were submitted by Riverpoint, Inc. The 1 r «5 Chain of Custody forms included in the reports was c reviewed. Each field technician signed their own form % ' for the air samples they obtained. According to the Chain of Custody forms, there were times when more than one air sample was being obtained at the same . Of instance by the same field technician at different s locations. Unless there were other personnel used to z- I '•* *' monitor the pumps, the records provided indicate that at most four air samples were being conducted 7 < simultaneously by one technician.
