RE: Riverpoint. Inc.ZWorld Trade Center Air Sampling Project
Dear Mr. Fawzy:
I write to provide an update regarding this Office's investigation of Rivsrpoint, Inc. As
we discussed on December 20,2001,1 have confirmed that Marek Pawlik is employed by
River{)oint, Inc., as a field technician, and has collected air samples at the World Trade Center
C’WTC") site as part of Riverpoint’s project on behalf of the Department of Environmental
Protection,
In addition, Mr. Pawlik is the owner and laboratory' director of Renata Consulting
Services, Inc. This company is the laboratory that Riverpoint, Inc., has retained to perform the
PCM analysis of the air samples it collects at the WTC site. Mr. Pawlik is performing the PCM
analysis of the air samples provided by Riverpoint, including analysis of some samples which he
collected as a field technician.
I confirmed with the NYS Department of Health that Renata Consulting Services, Inc., is
certified in New York State as a laboratory to conduct PCM analysis of air samples.
