Information From Luis Rueda, Department of Design & Construction (DDC) 212- 640-9065 (If necessary, can call his Cell Phone: nZTSTZ J r’pii H Person who can answer questions about the barge - docked east of r Pier 25.

On Monday, 3/11, he met with the Lower Manhattan Tenants Assn. And agreed to do the following:

1) Built a plywood fence to separate area in front of Stuyvesant H.S. from the pier.

2) Are paving the pier (to reduce dust from an unpaved street) and expect to complete it over the weekend. Have installed a storm sewer to capture the water used to wet down the trucks, etc.

3) Wetting down West St. to minimize the dust and eliminate the mud.

4) Place rubber on the buckets/pans of the cranes to reduce noise when they bump into each other. Also to place rubber around the barges to reduce noise when they bump into each other.

5) Install a “Deluge System” to spray water on the cabs of trucks to wet the dust.

6) Also use the “Deluge System” to spray the debris as it is being unloaded into the barge.
