We invite NYC DE? to present during the 9;55 to 19; 10 “Environmental Chronology” time slot. The Conference Planning Comnuttee developed the following guidelines for presenters to consider in preparing their reinarks: ■ Describe plans in place on September 10 for respondins to emergencies. * Implementation of plan during disaster, and ewiufion of activities. • Lessons learned How did the response differ from the plan and why? ■ Interaction with other agencies. Successes and problems in communicaring across agencies and levels of government. ■ Specific ideas on how Environraental Healtli Agencies must be strengthened and their coordination improved.

Chronology presentat’cns offer agencies an opportunity to provide a brief review of events of September ! 1 and some perspectives on how NYC’s Public Health Infrastructure needs to be improved. More detailed presentations and audience participation will follow in the afternoon breakout sessions.
