be held on March 14, 2002, at the Hunter College Playhouse Auditorium, 68th
Street and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan. Time: registration 8:15 AM to
9:00 AM; sessions from 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM. Attendees will make their own
arrangements for lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM. Conference is free of
charge.
The goal of the conference is to begin the process of reflecting upon
lessons that we have learned from September 11 and the implications for t
charting NYC's public health policy in the years to come. Conference •A
sessions will focus on the impact of September 11 events in these major W,
areas: Public Health Infrastructure and Emergency Response, Environmental
Health and Occupational Health, Delivery of Health and Social Services and
Mental Health.
The Program in Urban Public Health at Hunter College Schools of Health
Professions is coordinating the conference. Conference Cosponsors include

Program of the Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences at Brooklyn
College, and the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
