6. FEMA Submission • FEMA requested a funding breakdown from EPA this morning. NYC will also be clarifying their budget numbers for FEMA. • Expect to have a lengthy discussion on the FEMA proposal at the next Working Group meeting.

7. Recommendations for Air Conditioners • EPA’s Communications Division is concerned with the language in the draft fact sheet. Although the information may be accurate, the public perception of it may cause concern with the level of exposure while cleaning without respiratory protection. EPA suggested replacement of suspected dirty units. • NYC will consider EPA’s recommendations. • Fact sheets from the agencies should give consistent messages. • The Working Group will consider issuing joint EPA/NYC fact sheets.

Next meeting: May 15th at 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ 290 Broadway.
