Hi Chris,
I just received a call from Dr. I PH I who resides at PH j PII ! (and .who heard from several times here at the hotline regarding .1-. .-V fwe've Vx
indoor air quality, etc.) Her most recent complaint is regarding an apparently serious mold issue all over the inside of her apartment/building. It seems that the mold problem began because the landlord of her building didn't handle the refrigerators and freezers that were left when residents left the building following 9/11 and now he refuses to do anything about the situation. Dr.[ PH i has spoken with HPD and they have classified the mold a Code "C" violation—I'm not sure what that specifies—but they don't have the jurisdiction to handle it.
Roger suggested I email you to see what the next step should be. Is there someone Dr. Bernstein could contact who could come to her building and culture the mold or anything?
