chris perez From: BRIAN SULLIVAN ([email protected]] Sent: Thursday, June 01, 2000 12:10 PM To: [email protected]; JOHN MAZZA Subject: Re: C3 Water Infiltration
I spoke with Mark Natali who is a supervisor with the water dept. and explained the facts that the water is still coming back along the curb line even after we vacuumed it up. He sent a crew in today to verify this and scheduled a shutdown of the 12' line on 6th avenue. He said that he will schedule it for Friday midnight but if it doesn't happen then, it will be Monday night at Midnight. He said it had to be this way because they need to send out notifications to Bldgs that might be effected by this shutdown. I told him again how critical this was, ie: lease agreements with tenants, construction shutdowns, constant calls for input from them, etc. and his answer was "yeah • you and 1,000 other people". I explained that I wasn't concerned with the other 999 just us and the tenant trying to build out the space and he said he understood, he still refused to do better timewise. I'll stay on top of them. I still believe this is the best way to solve this and I'm still not sure about a sump pit at this time.
