1. Q: Did Cantor Fitzgerald/eSpeed provide Basic Life insurance to its employees? A: Yes. Basic Life Insurance was provided to all employees in the amount of one times annual salary to a maximum of $50,000. CNA Insurance Company underwrites this policy.

2. Q: Did the Cantor Fitzgerald/eSpeed Basic Life Insurance policy include a provision that paid an additional death benefit in the event of an "Accidental Death"? A: Yes. The Basic Life Insurance plan included a provision which doubles the death benefit paid in the event of an "Accidental Death". CNA Insurance Company has confirmed that the World Trade Center disaster qualifies as an "Accidental Death".

3. Q: What is the total Basic Life Insurance death benefit that will be paid to the families of Cantor Fitzgerald/eSpeed employees. A: The Basic Life/AD&D Insurance policy will provide two times annual salary to a maximum benefit payable to $100,000
