1. Q: Did Cantor Fitzgerald/eSpeed provide Basic Life insurance to its employees? A: Yes. Basic Life Insurance was provided to all employees in the amount of one times annual salary to a maximum of $50,000. CNA Insurance Company underwrites this policy.

2. Q: Did the Cantor Fitzgerald/eSpeed Basic Life Insurance policy include a provision that paid an additional death benefit in the event of an "Accidental Death"? A: Yes. The Basic Life Insurance plan included a provision which doubles the death benefit paid in the event of an "Accidental Death". CNA Insurance Company has confirmed that the World Trade Center disaster qualifies as an "Accidental Death".
