Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications ($ in millions ) DOITT provides centralized data center, telecommunication, and wireless communication services for various city agencies. DOITT operates and maintains one of the largest data centers in the nation. The data center provides various information and network technology services for various city agencies including public safety agencies. The data center also provides backup mainframe services for the Police Department. DOITT has provided resources to city agencies to regain connectivity to the data center, citywide networks, and will continue to provide GIS map support, consultant services, and wireless communication support during the coordination and response effort.

Department of Citywide Administrative Services ($ in millions ) The Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) has provided extensive supply support and distribution services in relation to the World Trade Center terrorist attack. These services will continue throughout the rescue, recovery, and clean up efforts. These services include the procurement and distribution of a wide variety of goods, including respirators, protective clothing, water, generators, and fuel. DCAS will also be responsible for Citywide vehicle replacement.

DCAS also provides facilities management services for various city-owned buildings. DCAS is required to bring a large number of City occupied buildings in the downtown area back to an occupiable condition, requiring ventilation system repair, hazardous material testing, and structural analysis. In addition, DCAS' Division of Real Estate Services has been coordinating office relocation efforts for displaced city agencies.
