Subject: Additional Pricing
Knish,
I reviewed the procedures agreed upon by DEP and EPA, for cleaning the exhaust ducts and ACNentilation
Systems. The only major cost impact Is containment. As a general rule Termon/SSC Is prepared to complete the
cleaning using a °containment for the unit price of $1,000 at each location a containment Is required. For
example: where SSC had previously agreed to clean 5 floors of risers for the unit price of $1,000, it will now cost
$2,000 because a containment will be required for every point of entry we must insert our cleaning equipment.
Once on the job we may be able to stretch a containment every 7 floors, Instead of 5 floors, and reduce the
billing. We may also be able to dean both down and up 5 floors In each direction, thus only charging for one
containment (extra $1,000) per ten floors. To be safe, DEP should be prepared to pay an extra $1,000 per 5
floors of risers cleaned.
I believe this is a fair adjustment.
Please let me know If you agree and how we should proceed.
Thank you.
