volume, and flow through the composite sampler. This form is used only when the collection contains composite samples. If the collection consists solely of grab samples all information is entered on the Sample Collection Form (see below). Composite Sampler: A sampling apparatus which is used to collect a sample over time. Information associated with the composite sampler, for example sampling start and stop times, or total flow through the sampler, is recorded on the Composite Collection Form. Data Manager: Individual responsible for the operation and maintenance of Airtek electronic data collection, storage, and reporting systems, including databases. IH Ouality Coordinator/OA Officer: Individual responsible for ensuring that sample shipments are complete and that all documentation is correct prior to shipment of the samples; coordinating sample shipments to and results reception from analytical laboratories; and ensuring that results reports are complete and received on time. Sample Collection Form: The document used by the Sample Collection staff to record field notes regarding collected samples. This form contains information about the samples which may not be given to the analytical lab, such as sampling site location and sample collection notes. The Sample Collection Form is used in conjunction with the Composite Collection Form if the collection contains composited samples, or alone if the collection is composed solely of grab samples. In the former case information associated with the composite (such as flow data, total elapsed time, etc.) is recorded on the Composite Collection form, while information associated with the individual samples (such as any notes associated with the individual samples) would be recorded on the sample collection form. Sample Collection Staff Individual or group of individuals responsible for the collection of environmental samples. Sample Team Lead: An individual within Airtek who is responsible for the routine sampling, analysis and reporting.
