The forces from the collapse of the South tower damaged 650 windows on the West si4e at One liberty Plaza. Th number of dantaged windows was greatest in the lower I

higher floors. The top third of the ha!f of the building with damgc diminishing on the building had no broken wiudwa. Dust and papers from the WTC came through the wi s that had been hick . This accumulation of dust and papers was greatest be ow the 20`" floor and was onflned to the Immediate area at the West perimeter of that building. Walla and doom limited the spread of (navy dust and papers. A light layer of fine dust covered otter areas to the eastern side of the floors with broken windows. Again, the spread of this fine layer of dust towards the eastern side of the btaflding was controlled by low each floor was designed.
