310 Greenwich Street and 40 Harrison Street, New York.
Location: Common hallway areas.
Dear Ms. Dolan,
Thank you for allowing COMMERCIAL LAB ENTERPRISE to submit a proposal to conduct an
asbestos inspection in the common areas (hallways) of the buildings mentioned above. The
inspection will be conducted to determine the presence of asbestos containing materials in the
carpet glue/mastic materials and in the cove base glue/mastic material.
COMMERCIAL LAB ENTERPRISE is an environmental consulting firm providing full services in
the asbestos/lead field and all environmental concerns.
COMMERCIAL LAB ENTERPRISE will be in charge of collecting the samples as per
regulations, overseeing the entire inspection project and to coordinate with the management the
most cost and time effective approach to finish the project following the EPA guidance
document Asbestos in Buildings: Simplified Sampling Scheme for Friable Surfacing Materials
(EPA 560/5-85-030a — October 1985). The samples will be sent to EMSL Analytical, Inc., for
TEM Analysis. Results will be ready in 48 hours after the sampling.
Commercial Lab Enterprise shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, instrumentation,
insurance and all other incidental, miscellaneous items required to perform the work as
prescribed in these specifications.
Our personnel is certified by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection
(NYCDEP), New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and by the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA).
Our schedule fees is as follows:
* Certified Asbestos Investigator/Inspector. $275.00/ 8 hours shift.
* TEM NOB bulk sample analysis. $ 55.00/sample.
