Asbestos in Dust Gymnasium (north building) and PSI visually observed dust accumulations on surfaces within the Theater 1 (south building). The presence of dust is likely due to usage of these areas by-- emergency/rescue workers. 6 samples. Dust PSI collected 3 microvacuum samples within each of these areas for a total of samples were collected by microvacuum and analyzed by Transmission Electron Microscopy in accordance with ASTM Method D5755-95. TEM has the ability to distinguish between asbestos analytical results structures and non-asbestos structures. The subject ASTM methodology reports in

asbestos structure concentration per square centimeter of surface area (s/cm2). The publication "Advances in Environmental Measurement Methods for Asbestos' prepared by the ASTM Committee D-22 on Sampling Analysis of Atmospheres in conjunction with the Environmental surface dust. Information Association references the following guidelines pertaining to asbestos in

<1,000 s/cm2 indicates low level >10.000 s/cm2 indicates above general background level >100,000 s/crn2 indicates high level

Asbestos strictures were detected in 2 of 6 samples as shown below. Although asbestos structures the were detected, results indicate low level concentrations ranging from well below to slightly above stated criteria of 1,000 s/cm2. As a precautionary measure, PSI recommends the surfaces In the gymnasium and theater be cleaned via wet wiping and/or FIEPA vacuuming.

Lead Wipe Samplina Surface wipe samples were collected within the Gymnasium (north building) and Theater 1 (south samples. Surface building). PSI collected 3 wipe samples within each of these areas for a total of 6 concentrations below the wipe samples were analyzed by EPA Method SW846-7420 and demonstrate EPA Leaded Dust Level Criteria of 40 micrograms per square foot.
