Asbestos Control Program
Dear Mr. Radhakrishan,
Just to follow-up of our meeting last Wednesday October 9, 2002. Regarding the
aboved subject building. The following is a list of potential questions regarding
the clean-up from the WTC, which you said you would be writing to FEMA:
1. Scrapping of loose peeling paint with contaminants behind the loose
paint.
2. Contaminants, logged in all patching materials of unknown content
possibly asbestos.
3. Contaminants logged on wood window frames including behind loose
putty peeling paint, parting strips, meeting rails and other areas under the
windows at the sill where contaminants can not be easily removed from ( many
windows were open on the day of the WTC as the building does not have central
air-conditioning.
