Dear Mr. Radhakrishnan:
Thank you for your letter of May 3, 2002 offering to include 10 South Street (a/k/a the Battery Maritime Building) in your agency's Cleaning Program.
The asbestos cleaning for the Battery Maritime Building is no longer necessary since this building is scheduled for a full external restoration and will be stripped-down. However, it has recently come to our attention that there is asbestos on the second floor interior space of this same building. Considering the timing of this information, coupled with the invitation to participate in your agency's Cleaning Program I would like to know if funding is available for interior asbestos cleanup.
