Remedial Action
All areas with an accumulation of dust were thoroughly cleaned and filters changed prior to re- energizing the HVAC system. Cleaning was performed on September 17, 2001 by PAL Environmental Safety Corporation and included the use of HEPA equipped vacuum cleaners to remove the dust, followed by a wet wiping of surfaces. Immediately following the remedial activities, EMTEQUE Corporation collected samples of the cleaned surfaces which were analyzed for lead. Results revealed no detectable lead.
