Attn. Arlene Anderson Re: Independence Plaza North Results of Testing/Analvsis of Carnet Mastic
Dear Ms. Anderson:
In accordance with your Agency's directive, Hudson River Management LLC (the Managing Agent far the residential complex known as Independence Plaza North) contracted with Commercial T..sting Labs to take samples of the carpet mastic glue in three areas of each public corridor of our 40 Harrison and 310 Greenwich Street buildings. The samples were analyzed by EMSL Analytical, Inc. using the TEM protocol.
As we expected, the results of the testing revealed that there is no asbestos present in the carpet mastic glue in any of the carpeting in the Building's common areas.
I have enclosed a copy of Commercial Testing Labs report and the accompanying analysis from EMSL for your information and for your files.
After your review of these materials, kindly advise the undersigned of your Agency's next step vis-a-vis carpet removal in the two referenced buildings.
