Dear EJrian:
Carl Passed of PA-NY/NJ forwarded the attached two letters to Moretrench regarding the sampling procedures for the water which is being discharged to the NYC sewer system.
The March 11^ letter frorh Bernice Malion of the PA-NY/NJ to NYC DEP requests confirmation that the testing procedures which we are having performed, on water samples from the dewatering well, discharge and the sumping system conform with DEP's requirements. A copy of the: e-mail from Bernice Malione dated March 19, 2002 confirms that according to NYC DEP, we are “currently performing appropriate analyses for PCB's and chlorodifluormethane."
We will continue to collect weekly water samples and have them analyzed in accordance with these DEP requirements until we receive further direction.
