Dear Brian:
Included in this fax transmission are water quality analyses for samples of the dewatering discharge (Main Discharge) and the sumping discharge (South Discharge) which were taken on December 31, 2001.
The MTBE concentration in the sumping water sample has risen to 200 pp/b. The MTBE concentration in the dewatering discharge has dropped to 18 pp/b. Both of these readings are in excess of the 10 pp/b maximum allowable concentration for discharges to the New York City Sewer System..
