The sampling locations were: P' Floor Lobby, 3’' ^ Floor Hallway by Room 339 and 5”' Floor Hallway by Room 518.
The established regulatory values for metals are intended for industrial workplace exposures and are 1 ot generally applicable to office/school settings. There are no standards for these nietals in indoor air in non-industrial situations.
RESULTS
Aluminum (Al) and iron (Fe) were the only two metals that were detected. Both were detected in the samole collected from the 3'‘’ floor hallway by Room 339. Al was detected at 0.00085? milligrams per cubic meter of air (mg/m^) and Fe was detected at 0.00368 mg/m^.
Chromium (Cr) was detected in one of the blanks.
There are no EPA screening levels or standards available for Al and Fe in ambient air.
