Mr. Bernard P. Orlan February 19, 2002 Air Sampling for Metals Page 2 P. S. 150 ('Manhattan') ATC Project No. 15-19125-0289

SAMPLE RESULTS

The only metals present at concentrations greater than the limits of detection were Cr and Pb. Analysis for Pb was performed only on the January 29* samples. Chromium concentrations in the samples on both days were indistinguishable from the concentrations in the blanks.

Lead was detected in the three samples from January 29*. All three samples contained slightly less than 0.3 micrograms of Pb per cubic meter of air (0.3 ug/m’) which is just at the detection limit. The concentrations detected are below the EPA standard of 1.5 ug/m\

ATC appreciates the opportunity to provide this indoor air quality service to the BOE. Please call me at (212) 353-8280 extension 212 if you have any questions.

Sincerely, ATC Associates, Inc.
