Contract Corts

The total contract cost from January 21, 2002 to June 30, -2002 is estimated to be $393,518.92. A letter of explanation from the vendor and specific information pertaining to the ambient air sampling completed at PS 894 is attached to this PW. The following information from the applicant and the applicant’s vendor was usedto compute the total eligible cost:

The first set of contract costs cover the period from January 21, 2002 to February 11,2002, a 21-day period. The cost per day for this first section of the contract is S307.19 per day (see attached letter from the vendor). Additionally, the second set of contract costs cover the period from February 12, 2002 to June 30,2002, a 139-day period. The costper day for the second section of the contract is $2,785.71 per day. The vendor stated that the reason for the increase in cost per day from the first section of the contract to the second section of the contract is that the BoE had requested additional testing stations, tests, and analyticals. The following table demonstrates how the costs in this PW were derived.

Cuntoct Date.s Cost Per Day Number of lolat .Days

02/12/02 to 06/30/02 32,785.71 139 3387,213.69 TOTAL ELIGIBLE 146 $393,664.68

Percentage of Work Completed

The percentage of work complete was calculated through April 22,2002. As suoh, for 91 days of the 160 day period, the work performed by ATC Associates has been completed. The BoE has not been invoiced for these costs, and therefore rhe dollar amount in this PW is based on an estimate provided by the applicant’s vendor, ATC Associates.

91 days/160 day period = 90/160 = 57% of the work complete.
