During our w; through of the generator room, water tank room and the American Express space the following observations where made. b A number )f air infiltration was observed around the intake louvers that need to be packed and caulked. 2- We SUggei t that the blank louvers be insulated from the inside of die room wi± 3 '/z” foiledbacked mineral wool R-19 minimum- 3- Build a sei ond furred out wall in the storage room adjacent to the American express space with foilbacked mtneral wool thermal insulation 1-19 minimum. 4- Add weafl er stripping to the double door entrance. {See attached catalog cut.) ; ,5- Remove n diatpr enclosure and column enclosure and seal all openings where air is infiltrating replace enclosures and paint if required. 6- Furnish ar i install (2) additional electric unit heaters as per attached Cosentini’s memo. In addition to, le above recommendations the following are a list of items requested by the port authority during the final inspection. 1 - Install hea: tracing at existing 6” diameter pipe in 7*^. floor generator room. 2- Add meta asirigal to double doors at 23’‘‘. floor cooling tower mechanical room. 3- Add one r lorc sprinkler head at 1*'. floor (elevator room in front of roll down grill.
