As per your memo, A visit was made to 7 W T C for inspection. Mr. Carrigan, the Fire Safety Director directed us around the building. The following items were addressed: 1. The tank is approximately 6,000 gal. not 10,000 as indicated on the A-8 (as per Mr. Carrigan). Mounted at the ceiling lever and empty. 2. The room that this tank is located within, also has access to the low rise elevator pits. 3. In this room is located a standpipe outlet. My main concerns is that, any product loss would land on the floor, since this tank is located at the ceiling level with steel structural beams for support. This could cause a problem since the two elevator rooms are located here and any fire in this room would negate access to the elevator pits as well as the use of the standpipe outlet which is located at the front of the room.
