APPENDIX G

Fire Prevention and Fire Protection Program

1. A plan for periodic formal inspections of each floor area, including exit facilities, fire extinguishes and housekeeping has been developed as follows:

a. At the start of each day a check of each exit is made by tenant fire safety team members and Operations and Maintenance personnel to determine that self-closing doors are in a closed position but are not illegally locked in Any manner. b. No obstructions are permitted in corridors or aisle spaces.

c. A daily check is made to insure that all necessary exit signs and lights where required are lighted and in good condition. d. The location and operation of fire extinguishes is knovjn by all Operations and Maintenance and tenant personnel. The maintenance of these units is controlled by the Fire Safety Director. e. Poor housekeeping is a fire breeder. Accumulation of combustible debris is not permitted and is promptly corrected whenever discovered.
