Re: Projectors - Mayor’s Office SMW Job Number 5149
Dear LAoyd:
The primary reason the projectors for this project were put on hold is because by the time you ate
ready to order them, they will probably be impossible to get. The Sharp XG-E3000U is being/has
been replaced by the Sharp XG-E3500U. You will need to re-submit on this, along with any cost
implications, as soon as possible. I don’t believe, and you’ll have to confirm this, that the physical
parameters and lens options are the same as it’s predecessor. Once you have confirmed this and
submitted on this, I don’t believe that the schedule should be affected in any way.
In reference to a scan doubler, a decision should be reached within the next week or two. This,
however, should not significantly hold up rack fabrication, in that something will be in the signal
path.
If you have any other questions or issues that require discussion, please call me.
