Dear Joe:
I have reviewed the submission for the "hurricane wail" as required by OEM and please
be advised that this design has been approved by the landlord subject to the following:
1. A water detector shall ba installed in every column bay behind the
"hurricane walls" for early warning of any water leaks, from the perimeter
hot water heating system, exterior windows, etc.
2. The 24" X 24" shall be installed as low and close to the floor level as
possible, and please insure there is sufficient space between the window
glazing or radiator enclosures and the "hurricane walls" for future
maintenance/repairs.
3. Every cavity behind the "hurricane walls" shall be equipped with blinds
and a means for ventilation.
