The Commons links the three-story data and opera­ tions centers, which have raised access flooring throughout. The central plant is a separate structure connected to the main building by a utility tuimel. Two utility feeds, a UPS system, and emergency power generation provide backup for the critical electrical sys­ tems. Preaction sprinklers and dry halon 1301 provide fire protection.
