Responsibilities Mr. Kennedy is responsible for the development and coordination of project-related cost control including estimating, scheduling, planning, and cost reporting. This includes assis­ tance to consultants and engineering project management in cost and schedule planning for cash flow projections and strategic facility analyses. His work has included cost evaluations and comparisons of alternative options including new construction, upgrade of existing fa­ cilities, and retro-fit of existing properties.

The Critical Path Method of scheduling is used for design and engineering activities which are monitored and reported on to ensure timely completion of the project. Three milestone cost estimates are prepared to guide each successive step of design and documentation.

Reason Selected Mr. Kennedy's relevant project controls experience include data centers, office complexes, for this Project R&D, and government agencies. TKLP projects on which Mr. Kennedy has provided these services include:

Relevant J.P. Morgan Services Inc., Operations Center I & n, Stanton, DE Experience/ Complete interior design services for a 300,000 SF facility including the data center, which Qualifications provides data processing and communications network services; the operations center, which accommodates large clerical operations using desktop computers; the commons, which con­ tains shared facilities such as dining areas and administration; and the central plant, which houses utility and support services. TKLP is currently working on Phase H, a 105,000 SF com­ puter and operations facility. Shearson Lehman Brothers, New York, NY A 720,000 SF operations center with 120,000 SF of computer area and 260,000 SF of raised floor area for convenient access and flexibility in electronic/communications distribution. The telecommunications and data communications systems use fiber optics with high re­ dundancy and flexibility at local switching levels. United Airlines, Reservations Center, Denver, CO A 115,000 SF centralized computer center to support UAL's Apollo Airline reservation sys­ tem, which is in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The entire space is raised-floor: 57,000 SF houses computer hardware; 17,000 SF accommodates office functions attached to the computer operations; 11,000 SF is allotted for miscellaneous support functions; and the remaining 30,000 SF houses mechanical and electrical support. International Monetary Fund, Headquarters Office Building, Washington, DC The 1,066,000 SF Phase I building consists of offices, executive suites, business and legal libraries, board rooms, lounges, conference rooms, and eating areas. A concourse beneath the building houses several service functions, the joint computer center, and a four-story parking garage. Phase II added 265,000 SF in a 17-story reinforced concrete office structure with 4-stories of parking below grade. The building contains two large conference rooms which are connected by means of a telecommunications system. Phase III will add 410,000 SF, consisting of 250,000 GSF located in 13 stories plus penthouse above grade, and 160,000 GSF distributed on six levels below grade.
