3) All details of the proposed method of support and/or
protection of existing sewer facilities, located in
proximity to proposed work, should be shown on the
plans. Sewers located in areas where pile driving
operations are proposed (or any other work which may
cause damage to the sewers), may require inspection.
Any and all damage done to existing sewer facilities
during the course of the proposed work shall be
reported to this Department and repaired, in full
conformance with N.Y.C.D.E.P. standards, at no cost
to the City.
4) The proposed method of disposal of groundwater should
be indicated on the plans. If City sewer facilities
are to be used as an outlet for dewatering operations,
all the details should be submitted to NYCDEP for re-,
view and approval. Such details should include; points
of discharge, method of sewer connections, rates and
durations of expected flows, design of all piping,
design of settling basins, provision for continuous
printing meters, location and description of well
points, and any other pertinent details of the de
watering systeip. ,
5) If any proposed sewer work is contemplated as part
of this project all the details should be shown
on the plans. s
6) There is a reference note on drawing CDS-1 indicating:'
that utility relocations are sho\'m on Dwg. WTC-1 and i
following-. These utility drawings should be included;
with the next submittal. I

7) For ease of reading, an attempt should be made to
coordinate the various drawings in relation to each
'Z- other. The existing sewers shown crossing the electric
ducts on plan drawing E-1 should be shown also on the
profile drawing E-4. In addition, a key plan should
be provided showing,the proposed intake lines in relation
to the streets and building lines in the project area.
