FYI - As you requested, I spoke to Rich Teleschi from the Federal Reserve regarding the decon of the $1 IM recovered from WTC. He said that the money was moved to a NYPD warehouse in Queens. Rich said that initial reports indicated that the money was "pretty bad". What this means, I don't know. In any case, he said that the Bank of America spoke to NYPD and that the NYPD Commissioner is releasing the money. I was unable to get in contact with the EPA supervisor who might know if the money was checked for contamination. However, I did speak to EPA's WTC emergency contractor and they said they were never asked to look at the money.

Paul.
