Giisenan, Michael From: Hoffer, Mark Sent: Wednesday, July 24,20021:33 PM To: Avaltroni, Robert; Giisenan, Michael; Schiano, Frank Subject: FW: interior cleaning program

Frank - can you give Larry a general description of what is being discussed onb the scope? Thanks.

Bob/Mike - any further word on whether FEMA will pay for the extra insurance, if the City elects to buy it. Note that Larry Martin (Law) is talking to someone at FEMA about this. ---- Original Message---- From: Kahn, Lawrence [mailto:lkahn81aw.nyc.gov ] Sent: Wednesday, July 24, 2002 11:33 AM To: ’markh8dep.nyc.gov’ Cc: Martin, Lawrence; Levi, Steven Subject: interior cleaning program

Last time we spoke, you mentioned, I think, that EPA was still raising some issues as to the scope of the work on the interior cleaning contracts. What were the issues and have they been resolved? Are there any other outstanding issues (besides insurance)? In the meantime, Larry Martin will speak with FEMA’s consultant to find out whether FEMA will pay for the cost of the insurance.
