Chris, FYI. I'm on my way back from the hospital if you need to speak to me. Bob —Original Message— From: Gair, Brad [mailto:[email protected] ] Sent: Tuesday, November 19, 2002 5:24 PM To: Sharon Greenberger (E-mail); Robert Avaitroni (E-mail) Subject: FW: Meeting Confirmation

Sharon and Bob, I think that it is imperative that we meet in advance of this meeting to develop a coordinated strategy how to address the ongoing EPA issues. I recommend that we try to include Dan D., Chris W. and NYC DOH. Sharon, Can you suggest some times. Brad Gair FEMA WTC Federal Recovery Office 646.746.1888 (office) 917.842.7947 (mobile) ----- Original Message----- From: [email protected]^^m^l^to:[email protected] ] To: Gair, Brad Cc: Picciano, Joe Subject:RE: Meeting Confirmation

The meeting topic, which we discussed last Thursday, is the issue raised by numerous unions and political representatives, of whether there should be a cleanup program of commercial buildings. I believe it is important that the key senior leaders of the government agencies involved at the federal, state and city level should discuss this issue and how it should be handled. It has been extremely difficult to arrange a date for the state DOH and DEC commissioners (or her representative in the case of DOH) to be in New York City for such a discussion. 12/5 is the date which is earliest possible for them. I will be coordinating with Bob Avaitroni regarding participants from the City. You suggested Deputy Mayor Doctoroff, and Bob seemed willing to pursue that possibility. As Bob was out yesterday, I will discuss with him today. Will let you know what I find out. I am also discussing with Pat Clark of OSHA given the union/worker aspect of this issue. Jane Kenny and myself plan to participate for EPA. Final note - the time will be 1:30 to 3:30, a correction from my message. Thank you. Kathleen C. Callahan 212-637-3116 212-637-3115 (fax)
