In the FEMA proposal that DEP is coordinating,the DOH was hoping to include some funding for risk communication activities for lower manhattan. Bob Avaltroni mentioned that you were requesting funding for communication issues as well. I would like to coordinate on what we would like to include. I think they are probably distinct areas. From our side, it is likely that DOH will need to continue to respond to community issues, conduct community presentations, respond to health issues related to indoor air results and prepare materials in response to press or public concerns.
