A CERTinCATE OF NO EFFECT ON PROTECTED ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES (a •ONE*) is Issued when the proposed work requires a Buildings Department permit but does not affect the stgntflcanl, protected arcHleeturel festures of a designated building. For example, the LPC staff may issue e CNE for prefects TYPES OF requiring alterations to an undes^nated Interior or to non-elgrilfloant features of a rear wtol. A C of A may beissued only after the proposal has been brought to a public hearing before IM LPC and has been formally approved and, where applieable, any conditions of foe approval have been satisfied.
