Items 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 may require further discussion. 1)EPA indicated that asbestos TEM results for Arthur Kill should not be normalized to a volume based on discussions they had. 2) EPA agreed that possibly additional perimeter monitoring might be needed-also that the sitting area might be moved. 3) Benzene difference between SDOH and EPA was raised. Must be analyzed further. 4) Recent bulk asbestos sample was 35% asbestos-Osha has ramped up air monitoring on the pile. 5) Data to be put on web site-EPA wants to know which agency wants their data on the site 6) Data base access- the issue of FOYA requests was raised- when and how to allow requests access? what has to be done to allow others access? the issue of whether to include am interpretation with the data was raised with respect to FOYA - Someone said they responded with paper versus access to the data base.

On Wednesday's call there will be a further discussion about reviewing data and who and how it should be done.-l raised our concern that as part of that discussion we would like criteria and/or logic about looking at all monitoring sites(our asbestos +school sites for example) and deciding whether to adjust the number of sites-Jessica said the data would lead us to the answer-1 didn't raise our shorter duration samples with volumes increased to 900-1000 liters- as Wednesday seemed a more appropriate time. 8) Indoor sampling plan was discussed as a pilot plan for residential space only.A better version will be available next week after ATSDR speaks to CDOH. A meeting wil be scheduled after the new version is out. I spoke to Chris D'Andrea after the call and gave him some of Gerry's and my comments. Our suggestions were for the most part about making the document clearer and explaining why and how certain things were being done. He said he would get us a revised plan for our review and get us on the next indoor air conference call. I agreed -however, is this OK? We do have a call scheduled for tuesday, with Comm, to discuss the new plan which is due COB monday. As an aside Gerry has asked me to go to a Wednesday meeting with Stuerken oncivil service request for air monitoring in city owned or leased buildings - ican show you the request. 9) The outdoor sampling plan has been modified according to EPA. Two 24 hour dioxin samplers will be run for this week at least at Pace and BMCC.EPA was asked why was this being done-were their requests or did they think it was an issue- they indicated that ORD had the equipment and thought it would be useful to get more continuous data. Something else was added at Pier 6 but I missed that. 10) Some discussion was held about increasing perimeter RAMS when there was demolition.
