approval from a supervisory officer of the N.Y.P.D. The
N.Y.P.D. is authorized to oversee such removal and any
person in violation of the terms contained in this provision,
including being off a designated route, shall be punished to
the fullest extent of the law, and may have his or her vehicle
seized for forfeiture and Trade Waste Commission license or
registration revoked.
Sec. 4. I hereby direct the Police, Fire, Emergency Management, and Health
Ito
Commissioners to take whatever steps are necessary to preserve the public safety and to
render all required and available assistance to protect the security, well-being and health
of the residents of the City.
Sec. 5. Any person who knowingly violates any provision of this Order is guilty 1 to
of a class B misdemeanor.
Sec. 6. This Order shall take effect immediately. It shall remain in effect for five
days unless it is terminated at an earlier date. The Proclamation dated July 3, 2002 is
hereby terminated.
