(2) Non-retail companies that need permanent space can still contact the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) which represents the major owners, managers and brokers of property in Manhattan and throughout the City has established a phone bank to respond to tenants dislocated by the tragedy at the World Trade Center who need office and retail space. Brokers and owners are sending in information regarding available space and staff is using that information to assist the displaced tenants. Please call one of these numbers (all lead to the same recording) 212-621- 9502,9517,9527. This space bank is open Monday through Saturday, 9 AM - 6 PM.

Building owners and brokers are providing space availability information to an e mail address established for this purpose: [email protected].

If you have temporary (up to 12 month) space available send it to [email protected]. The e- mail should include contact name, firm, phone and or e- mail address. The space information should contain: market area, exact address, square footage, condition of space including whether there is furniture, phone, internet capacity, shared use of conference space etc
