The hearings are for the purpose ofreceiving statements from members of the public regarding Brookhaven Ener^s application. A transcript of each hcarmg will be prepared. AO written and oral statements will be enter^ into the record of the proceeding for consideration by the Siting Board. The Siting Board ultimately may grant or deny Brookhaven Energy's application or amend the proposed conditions presented by the applicant Each bearing will remain open for at least (me hour and continue until all persons wishing to comment have been heard or other arrangements are made. It is not necessary to make an appointment in advance or to present written material in order to speak. Sneakers will he called after cnmpletihg a Card requesting to speak at the time of the hearing. Persons not wishing to speak may nevertheless submit comments in writing at the hearings.
