FACULTY N E W S NYU’s Institute for Education and Social Policy, directed by Wagner-affiliated Professor Norm AWARDS & HONORS Fruchter, completed a five-year study of the New York City Annenberg Challenge education reform project, the New York Networks for School Renewal (NYNSR). The study found that the NYNSR schools, which are smaller, more personalized learning environments, achieved improved academic performance for a diverse population of students within the existing bureaucratic structures.
