Bonnie. The meeting is on and EPA participation is encouraged. I am sure you can appreciate that any EPA strategy that runs contrary to the objectives of NYC will not be well received or supported - financially or otherwise - by FEMA.

-----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected] > To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Sent: Mon Nov 25 19:15:39 2002 Subject: WTC Meeting Tomorrow This is in response to your message this morning regarding a meeting between NYC/EPA/FEMA on outreach issues. Kathy Callahan is not able to attend this meeting; this is why she asked that it be postponed until next week. However, if this is not possible, EPA will have representatives at the meeting. Please understand that EPA has a continuing responsibility to conduct outreach on its efforts, including this substantial effort for indoor cleanups on which the Mayor of New York City requested EPA take the lead. Of course, as we've said, we will be pleased to participate in the joint agency efforts. I will confirm the details for the meeting with Laurel Blatchford's office.
