This is a heads up that this file was sent to EPA's risk assessor (Mark Maddaloni-who've I've known for a long time) at their request. It contains lead data from potable water samples from lower Manhattan. The sampling locations are biased high as they represent locations where citizens requested a free DEP lead test. EPA's purpose for collecting this data is to use the EPA lead pharmacokinetic model and data from different media, including potable water, to estimate an acceptable indoor air concentration for lead at locations in lower Manhattan, and as a consequence of the WTC disaster. I am not sure who in DEP has been sitting on some of the various 9/11 committees dealing with air toxics-so I am sending to you Shauna to alert others in DEP, if you feel it is necessary. I don't expect the potable water data or the indoor air data to be an issue because the potable water concentrations are low and the measured indoor air concentrations (from locations N. of 79th street are relatively low-max of 0.056 ug/m3). Similar information on water available on DEP Annual Statement.
