Dear Mr. Diana Chapin, Ph.D. First Deputy Commissioner After our discussion, I asked Deputy Commissioner of Water Tel. (718) 595-6576 . and Sewer Douglas Greeley to further investigate the problem the Fax. (718) 595-3557 owners of 1251 Avenue of the Americas have been having with water Dchapin@ nysnet.net intrusion. As a result, I have been informed that our leak detection unit found a circular split in a twelve inch watermain on 50th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. The main was repaired on Saturday, July 28th and we believe the leak has been stopped.
It was good to speak with you again. Please let me know if the condition recurs.
