Note: Recently the New York State Department of Health announced that it is renaming its Medicaid program for uninsured children and will be united under the name Child Health Plus. This is being done to lessen confusion over the recent disenrollment of Medicaid-eligible children from the Child Health Plus program to enrollment in Medicaid. Under the new unified name, parents can enroll their children in Child Health Plus-A (formerly Medicaid) or Child Health Plus-B.

Advertising

• The HealthStat pre-screening and referral phone line is on target to begin in November. f1 _ 7

• The HealthStat bus and subway advertising campaign will begin November 6th; the radio campaign is scheduled to begin November 13`h. HealthStat posters and brochures that complement the advertising campaign will be available by mid- November.
