To make this happen we would need your cooperation to identify potentially
exposed workers and to help JHLJ contact them (as many as Eve (3) workers per day can
be sampled) before a work shift At that time JHLJ will explain the purpose of the study
to workers, obtain his or her consent and place the monitors on the workers, At the end
of toe shift, Jl;il.' will retrieve the samples and submit them for analysis. Current plans
are to analyze the samplers for a variety of contami'inr--•ts (asbestos, lead, silica, and
general dust levels). El any of our members from the NYC Sanitation Department are
stn Toned at any of the landfill sites dedicated to the World Trade Center debris, we wou!d
like to include them in the study as well.
