9.5 All other porous items (paper goods, books, files, etc.), which were exposed and covered
with dust, clean all exposed horizontal surfaces using HEPA vacuum, wet wipe and again
HEPA vacuumed. Place back in original location.
9.6 All dust covered floor surfaces shall be HEPA vacuumed first, followed by wet cleaning
and again HEPA vacuumed. Repeat this process until all visible of dust has been
removed.
9.7 HEPA vacuum all exposed surfaces of ceiling tiles in affected areas, followed by wet
wiping and again HEPA vacuum.
9.8 When cleaning any perimeter area of the floor, remove affected convector covers in order
to HEPA vacuum behind the convector. Replace cover after cleanup is completed.
10.0 REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF ACM FROM THE BUILDING
10.1 Remove sealed and labeled containers and dispose of accordingly in an approved sanitary
landfill as follows:
a Polyethylene bags shall be labeled in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1200(f) of
OSHA's Hazard Communication standard (First Label):

b. Provide a second label in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation
regulation on hazardous waste marking. 49 CFR parts 171 and 172 as follows:

c. Provide a third label in accordance with 40 CFR Part 61 of EPA's Asbestos

d. Ensure that no visible emissions are released to the outside air from the site where
materials and waste are deposited.
f Waste from this Project cannot be mixed with, or added to waste from any other
project, and cannot be transferred from the original truck. Waste from any other
source cannot be added to the original load. Waste truck must proceed directly to
the landfill.
