From: Christopher D'Andrea To: Goodman, Andrew; Hansell, David; Jeffery, Nancy; Leighton, Jessica; McKinney, Kelly; Mojica, Benjamin; Nieves, Ray: Prudhomme, Jeanine; Weisfuse, Isaac Date: 12/14/01 5:11PM Subject: Re: 105 Duane St update

..A.itacbed_is..a_first draft of a fact sheet for 105 Duane Street. One of the "active" tenants E_____.PI1 _ _ PH ) contacted me and wants to set up a meeting between DOH, some of the concerned tenants, Joel Kupferman, and Ed Olmstead for sometime next week.

>>> Jessica Leighton 12/14/01 01:11PM >>> I spoke with Mike Gilsenan at DEP (Asst Comm responsible for the asbestos program). Upon our recommendation, they called the Mgt Co. to recommend using proceedures that will prevent dispersion of asbestos when they clean the ducts (e.g., hepavac). The mgt has hired a company that is developing a protocol that will including hepavacuuming. DEP will send us the protocol when they get it (probably Monday). DEP has also told the Mgt that they want to send an inspector out when the work is being done.

We will still be meeting with DEP on Mon morning at gam in my offs . thanks.
