It is anticipated that scaffolding will be removed promptly when the work is completed. DEP cannot agree that the scaffolding will be removed after a certain time period even if the work is not completed; however, the work will be scheduled in consultation with building representatives so as to minimize any inconvenience. The language contained in Article 4 (Reimbursement) is required by FEMA and may not be amended. I have attached a copy of a FEMA- approved clarification for your review. scheduling of HVAC system shutdown is a technical matter to be arranged by conference among representatives of DEP, the cleaning contractor, and the Building.
